Strongman and Strongwoman competitions are booming on a global scale. Formerly only dedicated to a specific bodytype of individuals, the sport is now democratized and becomes in recent years open to athletes of all sizes: men or women. The mission of the CAASA is to provide strength athletes a structure across Canada to organize competitions and develop athletes from all weight categories and gender.

The organization led by 2 individuals practicing this sport, Émilie Morin accompanied by Antoine Picard-Marchand, aims to bring Canada’s amateur strength athletes to a competitive world-class level by offering a fun and rewarding circuit .
